I’m Mike Mella. I am a skilled designer and developer with a passion for making the Web more beautiful and usable. Working with a strong background in design, I have been creating websites since 1999 and today work primarily with non-profit organizations and medium-size businesses.

Over the years, I have created many websites for small and medium-sized businesses, in sectors including entertainment, hospitality, and travel and tourism. In addition to my private client work, I managed the Canadian Diabetes Association website from 2006-2009.

I launched my website design company, Be Like Water, in 2009. Named for the famous Bruce Lee philosophy, Be Like Water is based on the principle of adaptability. “Don’t get set into one form, one style, one approach. The web is always changing: I ensure that my clients don’t get left behind.”
