I am a web developer based in Brooklyn, NY. I started building web sites in 1996, when “internet” was a new buzzword. At the suggestion of a friend, I started learning HTML on the side while in graduate school studying painting in Chicago. By the time I moved to New York a year later, being a web developer was virtually unavoidable. I signed on with Roger Black’s Interactive Bureau, which later became Circle.com, working as a front-end developer on IBM’s w3 Intranet, AOL’s “At School” web site, and eSaludo (a Spanish language wellness portal). In 2001, I went solo and have been working independently and in partnership with other consultants ever since.
I have an M.F.A. in Studio Art from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a B.A. in Studio Art from Wesleyan University.
