I’ve been a freelance designer since 2001. I saw the light after working for some big multinationals and getting weary of producing work by committee. It’s 1994 and there I was, hungover and eating fish & chips in a takeaway in Dublin. I’d been out the night before drowning my sorrows after being dumped. In this funk I decided to change a few things and started jotting some ideas down. It’d always been my dream to work for myself and do my own thing rather than follow the crowd. So from the doodles on the back of a stained Guinness coaster I came up with the business name: Still Moving Design. I wanted something that covered my equally passionate creative outlets: print and animation. The animation side of things didn’t really work out (although there was that Flash project where I had to move some boxes around) and it took me another 7 years before I actually went out on my own. Six years later, searching high and low for a decent cms that wouldn’t make me cry blood just to implement a css two column layout I came across EE. And it was lurve. I live in Italy with my wife and two boys.
